The PSF-53025 is an LED medium intensity ground level surface mounted helipad and helideck floodlight. The purpose of the PSF is to provide cones of light "washing" the landing surface that provides improved conspicuity and depth perception to the pilot. The PSF floodlight housing is heavy duty cast aluminum with a strong cast aluminum cover. The unit includes a complete glare shield for the two (2) LED flood lamps. A ground lug is included. The PSF is powdercoat painted aviation yellow for corrosion resistance that meets the US Military Standard Salt Fog Test conducted per MIL-STD-810F, Method 509.4, Procedure I, paragraph 4.5.2. Standard entry is on 3/4-inch NPT at rear wall.

 

Option -MT: The fixture shall be treated for marine conditions by cleaning per US MIL method III of TT-C-490, chromate priming per US MIL-C-5541, epoxy powder base coat and final coat of glossy
